KOWA suspension forks' arrival

We have recently gotten our shipment of KOWA suspension forks from JAPAN.





Forks received are:

200Sx
200Si,
180Sf+FPC (Floating Piston Camber),
180Sf,
& 160SS

KOWA suspension forks specifications as follows:


200Sx: 200mm travel with Travel adjuster(0-200mm), Compression Adjuster, Rebound Adjuster and is Air Sprung. Weight is an approximately 3050grams. Comes with CNC lower and upper crown with Titanium Bolts all round. 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc.





200Si: 200mm travel with Travel adjuster(0-200mm), Rebound Adjuster and is Air Sprung. Weight is approximately 2900grams. Comes with CNC lower and upper crown with Titanium Bolts all round. 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc.





180Ci: 180mm travel. Compression adjuster, Rebound Adjuster and is Coil Sprung. Weight is around 3250grams. Comes with Forged Lower and upper crown with Stainless Steels bolts all round. 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc. Preload adjuster available as an Option.





180Sf + FPC: 180mm travel. Rebound Adjuster and is Coil Sprung(Single leg). FPC have both Positive and Negative air adjustment for the sensitive ride. Weight is around 3200grams. Comes with Forged Lower and upper crown with Stainless Steels bolts all round. 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc.





180Sf: 180mm travel. Rebound Adjuster and is Coil Sprung. Weight is around 3300grams. Comes with Forged Lower and upper crown with Stainless Steels bolts all round. 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc. Preload adjuster as option.





160SS air: 160mm travel with Travel adjuster(0-160mm), Rebound Adjuster and is Air Sprung. Weight is an approxiamtely 1800grams. Comes with CNC Hollow crown . 20mm thru axle with Boxxer disc mounts for 203mm disc.





All the above Kowa forks comes with Aluminum steerer.


Frame Bumpers are included for 200Sx, 200Si, 180Ci, 180Sf, 180Sf + FPC

Edge Composite Rims and Fork arrived!!

After a long wait, we finally received our shipment of Edge Composite Rims.

These ain't the ones from Taiwan, which are basically the same items as those like Token, Equinox, Soul, etc..

These rims are Made in USA, Utah.

The rims comes in 4 different offerings.

38mm Tubular

1.38: Lightweight 38mm Tubular rims. Weights avg: 266grams (+/- 5 gms)

2.38: Regular weight 38mm Tubular rims, Edge states that these carbon rims are good enough even for Cyclocross usage. Weight avg: 321grams (+/- 5gms)

68mm Tubular

1.68: Lightweight 68mm Tubular rims. Weight avg: 360grams (+/- 5gms)

2.68: Regular weight 68mm Tubular rims, as per 2.38 rims, Good enough for Cyclocross usage. Weight avg: 425grams (+/- 5gms)

These weight are actual weight measured by Patrick using a digital scale.

We will be building a 1st set of Edge 2.68 rims with Dura-ace 7800 hubs on 24holes Front and Rear.

Why Shimano hubs instead of others? The DA hubs have proven to be very smooth rolling. This set will be a set of wheels build for all-round usage. As both training wheels and also for racing.

Expected weight for this set of wheels would be in the range of 1400 grams.

Current available rims are the 1.38, 2.38, 1.68 in 20h front and 24h rear manner.

New addition to the Eclipse Sports family..

My wife just gave birth to our second son on the 22nd of April. Started with a busy day preparing for working and wife complained of the pain but not sure whether if it's contraction..

Just to say that both Mummy and baby are both in good health now and is happy to see another one in the family.

We are about to finish deciding on the baby's name.

Finally, we started Blogging

Having to be around for 5 years, Blogging haven't got to be the thing around for us.

Time haven't allowed us to do blogging to share the latest products at the earliest time.

Now, we are finally got a Blog and hope to showcase the latest products on this blog whenever possible.
